Another section of the North-South Railway will be inaugurated

The Federal Government informed that it will "inaugurate, this Friday (16/6), the North-South Railway (FNS)", a railway link between São Paulo and Maranhão. This is another excerpt. Over the years, several "openings" have occurred.

According to official information, the full FNS connection occurs with the inauguration of the Central Section, at the Rumo S.A. concessionaire's Bus Terminal, located in the municipality of Rio Verde (GO). It will now be possible to make the railway connection between Estrela D’Oeste (SP) and Açailândia (MA) 100% operational.

• Porto Franco (MA) - Aguiarnópolis (TO) 2007

• Aguiarnópolis (TO) - Araguaína (TO) 2007

• Araguaína (TO) - Colinas do Tocantins (TO) 2008

• Colinas do Tocantins (TO) - Guaraí (TO) 2010

• Guaraí (TO) - Palmas (TO) 2010

• Palmas (TO) - Uruaçu (GO) 2012

• Uruaçu (GO) - Anápolis (GO) 2014

• Ouro Verde (GO) - Estrela D'Oeste (SP) 2021
