The Andermatt Group has announced the acquisition of 80% of the shares of Agricheck Srl, a leading Argentine company in the biocontrol and precision technologies sector for agriculture. This strategic acquisition consolidates Andermatt’s position in the South American market, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and innovative agriculture.
Agricheck, located in the northern Patagonia region, is known for its expertise in biocontrol and for providing innovative and sustainable solutions to Argentine farmers for more than two decades. With this acquisition, Andermatt expands its operations on the continent, promoting technologies that increase agricultural productivity while minimizing environmental impact.
Carlos Gajardoni (pictured, left), CEO of Andermatt Brazil, says that the merger will allow us to offer even more innovative and sustainable solutions to farmers in the region. “We are extremely happy to be able to strengthen our presence in Latin America with the collaboration of our new sister company in Argentina,” he highlights, highlighting the company’s commitment to strengthening more efficient and regenerative agriculture across the continent.
