On a night marked by expectations and renewal, the National Association of Agricultural and Veterinary Input Distributors (Andav) held the inauguration ceremony of its new Board of Directors for the 2024/2025 biennium, signaling a new chapter in the history of the entity and the sector Brazilian agriculture.

The event, which took place this past Tuesday, not only consolidated Andav's growing influence on the national scene, but also highlighted its integration into the Instituto Pensar Agropecuária (IPA), strengthening collaboration with the Agricultural Parliamentary Front (FPA). The ceremony, attended by deputies, senators, and notable figures from agribusiness, took place in Brasília, highlighting the importance of the federal capital as a stage for decisions that shape the future of agriculture in the country.

Under the presidency of Agro Hara's founding partner, José Hara, the renewed board of directors represents Andav's vast network of associated companies, which together have a presence in more than 900 Brazilian municipalities. The inauguration ceremony not only honored Andav's 33-year history in defending input distributors, but also celebrated the achievements and future advances planned for the sector.

During the event, the president of the FPA, federal deputy Pedro Lupion, highlighted the vital role of Andav and the distribution of inputs in the success and efficiency of Brazilian agribusiness. “Our great legacy is to make the real Brazil, from the interior, prosper through the circulation of goods and capital. And you, from distribution, are fundamental in this process,” stated Lupion, guaranteeing FPA's unconditional support for the new directors and Andav's mission.

Under the leadership of Paulo Tiburcio, Andav's executive presidency celebrates a period of unprecedented growth, with the number of associated companies doubling in recent years and a record revenue of R$145,3 billion in 2022. The partnership with Terramagna to The launch of Andav's first Fiagro is just one of several innovative initiatives that promise to revolutionize the financing and sustainability of Brazilian agribusiness.

Andav's association with the IPA since March this year, and the Brazilian Agribusiness Association (Abag) since 2023, represents a significant strengthening of the entity in the dialogue and defense of agribusiness interests. This new moment is seen with optimism by members and partners, who see a promising future for the sector, guided by unity, innovation, and the incessant commitment to the development of national agriculture.
