Agreement between Bayer and Embrapa studies the relationship between pollinating insects and soybean cultivation
Lasting five years, the agreement covers five important research fronts, in six producing regions
The “ANDAV – Knowledge Distributor” Award is a new initiative by ANDAV – National Association of Agricultural and Veterinary Input Distributors – which recognizes and shares the successful experiences carried out by associated distributors in the dissemination of knowledge.
In its first edition, several entries were received and went through a pre-selection and were then forwarded to the judging committee. It was composed of employees from ANDEF, AENDA, SINDIVEG and also ANDAV.
The award recognized three companies, taking into account the requirements of suitability to the theme, creativity, innovation and documentary evidence. The winners of the first edition were: 3 Tentos, from Santa Bárbara do Sul/RS, with the “Produtor Mais” project, which developed sustainable personalized solutions for rural producers, validating research results in practice and monitoring producers; SC Tecnologia – from Recife/PE, with the “Melon Rally” program, which held a race to raise awareness about regional fruit growing on a regular basis, whose competitors were guided by a navigation spreadsheet with time and speed control and, by Finally, Agro Amazônia, from Cuiabá/MT, with the educational project “Horta na Escola”, which brought the best practices for creating a community garden to the classroom, contributing to the improvement of school meals.
The winning companies will receive as a prize a ticket to participate in the VI ANDAV Congress – Forum & Exhibition, which takes place from August 15th to 17th, at the Transamerica Expo Center, in São Paulo-SP. The Award will have its second edition in 2017.
