Dispute between US and China boosts domestic soybean values
The intensification of the trade war, and now the exchange rate, between the United States and China has sharply raised soybean prices in Brazil in recent days
A National Association of Agricultural and Veterinary Input Distributors (ANDAV) and State Animal and Plant Health Defense Agency of Mato Grosso do Sul (IAGRO) signed, this Tuesday, August 13th, the Technical Cooperation Term, with the aim of exchanging relevant information that contributes to improving the agency's inspection process and improving the procedures of distributors associated with the entity. The signing of the agreement took place during the ANDAV Congress - Forum and Exhibition, which runs until tomorrow, the 14th, at the Transamérica Expo Center, in São Paulo.
According to a Henry Mazotini, executive president of ANDAV, this cooperation term is of great importance because there is an interaction between the distribution system and the supervisory body. “Our commercialization process is highly legislated. And, this partnership results in better understanding and productivity on the part of both inspectors and distributors in order to faithfully comply with Brazilian legislation. In this way, this proximity between the two agents – supervisor and supervised – can generate very beneficial products for the entire system”, he stated.
To Daniel Ingold, president of IAGRO, the agreement with ANDAV helps to break the paradigm in which the agency only works to notify the distributor. “In addition to strengthening a public-private initiative, it will improve supervision because all two audiences will speak the same language and will be trained with the same parameters, as it will be joint work developed to improve the technical part that involves the security system. distribution and supervision”, he highlighted.
Effective this Tuesday, the 13th, technical cooperation will also involve the development of a training program for distribution professionals and inspection agents. For the first audience, the training will be aimed at the technical responsibility that a professional needs to assume when working in the input sales area. For the IAGRO audience, the training will have the same parameters as the ANDAV courses, guiding the conversation about legislation for both profiles.
ANDAV has other agreements with animal health defense agencies in other states, the results of which have been very positive. Currently, the entity's associates in Mato Grosso do Sul represent 80% of the market share in the distribution segment in the state.
Consolidated as one of the largest and most important events in the distribution of agricultural inputs in the world, the ANDAV Congress – Forum and Exhibition should attract around 5.000 people and is an ANDAV event. The Forum of the IX ANDAV Congress, with the macro theme: “The Distributor 4.0”, is addressing the barriers encountered by distributors of agricultural inputs, highlighting intelligent solutions. In addition, three EDUCANDAV workshops, ANDAV's training program, are being held on the topics of sales and marketing, financing and bartering.
