The 20th Expoagro Afubra is launched

The launch of the 20th Expoagro Afubra will be held tomorrow, February 28th, at the Expoagro Afubra Park, located in Rincão del Rey, in the municipality of Rio Pardo/RS, and will be a special moment. Sponsors, exhibitors, public bodies, institutions, entities and universities will be honored. The Fair's general coordinator, Marco Antonio Dornelles, reveals that the tributes are a way of expressing gratitude for the support that Afubra has received. “There are several tributes that we will carry out during the launch, as Afubra is not the only one who does the Fair. In addition to our team, we have companies and institutions that have been with us since the first edition of the Fair, in 2001”.

The launch of the fair brings together authorities and leaders from around 180 municipalities as well as bodies and institutions that help with programming and organizing producer caravans. It is also a time to gather the press and present what Expoagro Afubra will offer in its next edition.

The 20th Expoagro Afubra will be held from March 18th to 21st. “For the first time, the Fair takes place over four days and on a Saturday. The objective of holding the Fair on Saturday is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Expoagro Afubra and also the 65th anniversary of the entity, as it was on March 21, 1955 that Afubra was founded, in Santa Cruz do Sul”, reveals Dornelles. Therefore, unlike previous years, there will not be a solemn opening of the fair, but rather a commemorative event, on Saturday, starting at 9 am. “Holding the Fair on a Saturday also provides an opportunity for urban residents to come and learn about the potential of agriculture. Therefore, we value Afubra, Expoagro Afubra, the sponsors and exhibitors and, mainly, the rural producers”, highlights Marco Antonio Dornelles.

The program is being planned to cover the theme of the 20th Expoagro Afubra, Farmer appreciation: from the field to the city. In addition to the entities, sponsors and exhibitors will also bring their contribution to the appreciation of rural families to Expoagro Afubra. According to Dornelles, the program includes technical lectures, presentation of demonstration areas, dynamics of machines and equipment and meetings of rural leaders, among others.
