Agricultural and construction machinery show arrives in Rio Grande do Sul
Producers from Rio Grande do Sul are surprised by the maneuvers of New Holland machines in the New Holland Em Campo Program
The Tropical Melhoramento & Genética (TMG) New Talents Program received 2.917 registrations from February 22nd to April 22nd. Candidates from all over Brazil participate in the Program, which selects students who are completing their undergraduate degree and recently graduated professionals or recent postgraduates in Agronomy and Biology from all over Brazil for professional internship positions andTrainee.
For the internship modality there were 807 registered and for Trainee there were 2.110 candidates, 493 with master's and doctorate degrees. According to Romão Viana, Human Resources manager at TMG, the high number shows the company's attractiveness in the market and the great interest of new talents in working in plant genetic improvement research.
After completing the first stage of recruitment, screening and selection of CVs for the internship modality, interviews began with candidates from this group. Afterwards, interviews will be carried out with candidates for trainees. The results are scheduled to be released in June. Romão Viana also remembers that the final numbers reflect the macro scenario of the country's current job market, with more people looking for job opportunities than offers and execution of employment contracts.
In both modalities, those selected will be able to work in the South of Brazil or in the cerrado region. During the internship, students work for 40 hours a week and receive an internship grant. As Trainee, professionals work for 44 hours a week, they receive specific remuneration for the modality, plus benefits. This is the seventh edition of the project, which has already received hundreds of young people from various universities, from different states, since its beginning in 2010. “The project is one of the entry points for new research analysts and researchers into the company”, highlights the manager.
