As part of its commitment to promoting talent development, Alltech announces new leaders in its areas of Presidency, Culture and Talent, and Marketing and Communications. Orla McAleer will head the Culture and Talent department, Susanna Elliott will head the global Marketing and Communications team and Brian Lawless will be the President's new chief of staff.

"As we evaluate our strategies and capacity for growth, we are paying more attention to the recruitment, development and well-being of our core resource: our people," said Dr. Mark Lyons, president and CEO of Alltech. “The experience and leadership that Orla, Susanna and Brian will bring to their respective areas will allow us to optimize the strengths of our global team and better leverage new opportunities.”

With more than 20 years leading teams and establishing important industry links around the world, Orla McAleer takes on the role of Culture Director to strengthen the company's commitment to its employees and purpose. McAleer previously held the position of Marketing Director at Alltech, overseeing her area's actions in the more than 120 countries where the company operates and building a team and brand that met its corporate objectives. She holds a Masters in Business, Leadership and Management from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of University College Dublin, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity College Dublin and a diploma in Public Relations.

As Director of Marketing and Communications, Susanna Elliott will lead a global team of 130 professionals to drive Alltech's purpose of Working Together for a Planet of Abundance. Through data, information and interesting content, this area offers knowledge, resources and inspiration to face the challenges and opportunities of the sector. Elliott was Chief of Staff and Director of Communications at Alltech, working closely with Dr. Mark Lyons and his executive committee during the challenging period from 2020 to 2023. This experience gave her unique insight into the company that will now help her leading the global Marketing and Communications strategy. With a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Asbury University, she has held different Communications roles in her 15 years at Alltech. She is involved in the industry as a member of the American Feed Industry Association and vice chair of the advisory board for the CLEAR Center at the University of California at Davis.

Brian Lawless is Alltech's new chief of staff, responsible for the Office of the President. He will support Dr. Mark Lyons and the executive team to drive global strategy and maximize operational effectiveness. As an agritechnology specialist, he will bring the experience gained during his participation in the Pearse Lyons Accelerator, in Dublin, Ireland. He currently serves on the Bluegrass Society for Agrotechnology Development, which promotes Kentucky as a hotbed for agri-food innovation. Over his ten years at Alltech, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff, Species Marketing Manager, and Brand Manager for North America. In his early years at the company, he worked closely with Dr. Mark Lyons on strategic growth projects. Lawless holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Spanish from DePauw University and a master's degree in Agriculture from Western Kentucky University.
