Researcher shows advances in research on the use of remineralizers in soil

Cooperalfa announced today (13/12) the inauguration of its new grain storage unit in the municipality of Barão de Cotegipe (RS). The investment was R$30 million and, according to the cooperative's president, Romeo Bet, seeks to speed up the flow of grains and stimulate regional agricultural production.
The new silo has a complete structure for receiving, cleaning, drying, storing and shipping grains, with a total capacity of 171.360 bags. It also has a road scale, structure for classification and administration, drivers' room, truck yard and residence for the branch manager.
In 2023, despite climatic factors, Cooperalfa received around four million bags of cereals in the Northwest of Gaúcho. The regional has 3.140 members and 35 active CNPJs, in 25 municipalities.
Eudes Biavatti, manager of the headquarters unit, in Erechim-RS, highlights that, with the work, Cooperalfa reinforces its storage structure and support staff in carrying out the municipality's activities. The manager of the Barão de Cotegipe silo, Marcio dos Santos, informed that the new unit will serve around 500 existing associates in the surrounding area.
