War in Ukraine affects the soil
Results of pollutants and military explosions harm the soil more intensely than was recorded due to the First World War fighting in Verdun
Albaugh reports that it has obtained registration from the US Environmental Protection Agency for the fungicide Thrive 4M (EPA Reg. 42750-391). The product will be available for sale this spring in the North American market.
According to company information, Thrive 4M is a systemic fungicide that contains the active ingredient Metalaxil-M (mefenoxam). It provides protection against Oomycetes, including Pythium and Phytophthora spp. in potatoes, nuts, fruits, vegetables and other labeled crops. It can be applied by different methods.
“Thrive 4M is a great addition to Albaugh’s fungicide portfolio, which strengthens our product offerings in the row and specialty crop markets,” says Andy Bogue, Albaugh’s U.S. sales director.
