Albaugh announces agricultural engineer Cesar Rojas as the company's new president in Brazil. Rojas also chairs Argentina's Albaugh. The executive has more than 30 years of experience in agribusiness in Latin America. He has worked for large companies in the sector and has in-depth knowledge of the Brazilian crop protection market, in which he worked for 16 years. According to the company's board, Albaugh Brasil and Albaugh Argentina remain autonomous and independent companies.

According to Albaugh Brasil, the change in Presidency does not alter the company's plans for post-patent agrochemicals. Albaugh emphasizes that the planned investments will be maintained and the group's expectation is to launch at least 18 new products in the coming years, 6 of which in 2019.

“Albaugh’s objective is to be perceived as the leading company preferred by Brazilian farmers in the area of post-patent inputs”, highlighted the statement released by the company.

Albaugh arrived in Brazil around four years ago and is already among the fastest growing companies in the agrochemicals sector.
