​Albaugh Brasil starts sales in the Northeast with local partnership

New form of market access should extend to other regions

The Northeast region now has a partnership that will take Albaugh Brasil's products and services to all states in the region. PH Soluções, a special foliar fertilizer company, has also been serving the northeastern market with Albaugh products since the beginning of this year.

The main objective is to develop the region's market and channel sales through the PH Soluções commercial team and its relationship network. “In the Northeast region there are important production centers for HFs, fruits for export and sugar cane. An effective presence of Albaugh in these states is essential”, explains the commercial director of Albaugh Brasil, Paulo Tiburcio.

"We will optimize activities, leveraging sales and ensuring market growth for both companies, with reduced operating costs and synergy in the commercial structure", says Paulo César Padilha, agronomist and partner at PH Soluções.

Experience in the pesticides market, broad product portfolio, in-depth knowledge of the needs and challenges of producers and guidance so that they can achieve greater profitability in their business, will be the core of this union.

This type of strategic partnership is fundamental to achieving company growth goals and contributing significantly to consolidation in the Northeast region of Brazil. "We know that we have great market potential, but we also have difficulties in meeting the needs of the region. We are carrying out strategic planning that meets the peculiarities of each niche effectively, without generating unnecessary costs for the products. The objective is to make that the product reaches the end user at the lowest possible cost", advises Padilha.

This partnership model is the first to be implemented by Albaugh, which intends to extend the proposal to other regions and distributors. “Our idea is to have great partners in strategic producing areas in Brazil, who have a defined exclusive sales territory for the Albaugh portfolio”, explains Tiburcio.

PH Soluções and the Northeast

The Northeast is extensive and has niche markets. Due to the dry season, irrigated areas are concentrated in some regions. "In the São Francisco Valley, fruit growing (mangoes and grapes) stands out, largely serving the foreign market; in the region of Mossoró (RN) the highlight is melon, which accounts for all of Brazil's exports and almost all the domestic market; in the rural regions of Pernambuco and Serra da Ibiapaba in Ceará, the production of table tomatoes and vegetables prevails, serving the markets of the large cities of the Northeast; sugarcane production is concentrated in the Zona da Mata region (near coast), extending from Sergipe to Rio Grande do Norte", points out Padilha.

The drought of the last five years has affected it relentlessly, drastically reducing the planted area, especially in regions that depend on rain and storage in dams for irrigation or groundwater.

However, meteorologists claim that this phase is at an end and that the next few years will see regular rains, and with the completion of the São Francisco River transposition project, there will be an increase in water security in the regions under its influence, consequently an increase in area and production. "We believe that these will be the pillars of growth in the Northeast, which is why we created PH Soluções and the partnership with Albaugh will contribute to the development of the region, transforming the current reality into an environment of prosperity and a great future", exalts Padilha.
