Agricultural aviation is a specialized service that seeks the development of agriculture through the aerial application of fertilizers, seeds, agrochemicals, population of lakes and rivers, reforestation and firefighting in fields and forests. Due to specific sector regulations, supervisory activities and awareness of the rational use of natural resources, this type of service has evolved and become increasingly technical and professional, with the entire team involved having to have specific qualifications and constant improvement. .

According to data from SINDAG (National Union of Agricultural Aviation Companies), growth in the segment in 2020 was 3,16%, driven mainly by the increase in commodities in the field, starting 2021 with 2.352 agricultural aircraft in the country . Therefore, upon realizing the level of growth in the Agricultural Aviation segment, even during the pandemic, the company AGROTEQ - Agricultural Technology and Qualification is offering, between the 2nd and 13th of August 2021, in the city of Pelotas/RS, the Executor (CEAA) and Agricultural Aviation Coordinator (CCAA) courses aimed at Agricultural Technicians and Agricultural Engineers, respectively.

These courses are regulated by Normative Instruction No. 02/2008, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), which requires that, to work in agricultural aviation, the Agricultural Technician must have the CEAA. Furthermore, for Agricultural Engineers who wish to work as Coordinators in Agricultural Aviation, it is desirable to have the CCAA on their CV.

The CEAA/CCAA curriculum is basically divided into five modules, totaling 46 class hours for CEAA and 42 class hours for CCAA. These modules are: I- Agricultural Aircraft; II- Agricultural Aviation; III- Application Technology; IV- Operational planning and V- Practices. At the end of the course, a knowledge verification assessment is carried out by MAPA inspectors.

With the qualification offered, the professional will comply with the legal requirement and will be able to work in the Agricultural Aviation market. Furthermore, this opportunity will provide dialogue with the knowledge of instructors with more than 20 years of experience in training Executors and Coordinators in Agricultural Aviation, providing the student with ideal preparation to work in the dissemination of aerial application technologies, application efficiency with reduced production costs, reduced environmental risks through the work of qualified professionals.
