Agroinsumos, 20 years old, receives honor from Albaugh Brasil

The event brings together Albaugh's business area and the management of Agroinsumos, partner companies in the agricultural pesticides market.

In recent days, the Sinop (MT) branch of Agroinsumos received the technical sales representative of the American company Albaugh Brasil, Mario Losso, at an event held to celebrate the partnership between the companies, at a time when Agroinsumos completes 20 years of activities . Losso presented a commemorative plaque to the directors of the agricultural dealership that became an exponent of agribusiness in Mato Grosso.

According to the commercial director of Albaugh Brasil, Paulo Tiburcio, Agroinsumos is a notable company in the State of Mato Grosso, which serves 13 municipalities that are influential in Brazilian agricultural production. According to the executive, the resale's operating area covers 1,5 million hectares of soybeans, 750 thousand hectares of corn and 100 thousand hectares of beans. “It is an important distributor and a strategic partner for Albaugh’s growth in Brazil”, summarizes Tiburcio.

“Working in agribusiness means cultivating the seed of perseverance, growth and sustainable development”, says the commemorative plaque delivered by Albaugh to the management of Agroinsumos.

In just over a year in Brazil, after having acquired the companies Atanor and Consago, the American company Albaugh outlines bold plans for the country, in which it expects to earn US$500 million by 2021 and account for 25% of the group's global business.

Founded in the United States in 1979 by Dennis Albaugh, the company operates in countries in Europe and Asia, in the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. It employs around 3 thousand people worldwide and 150 in Brazil. Albaugh's local operation currently accounts for 9% of the group's global business.
