AgroGalaxy, one of the largest retail platforms for agricultural inputs and services aimed at Brazilian agribusiness, announced a partnership with AgTech Garage, one of the main innovation hubs specialized in agribusiness worldwide. The partnership aims to facilitate and accelerate the development of innovative and sustainable technological solutions for the sector.

“Technology is in AgroGalaxy’s DNA and sealing this partnership is another step towards our goal of innovating and bringing even more sustainability to the field. In this ecosystem, needs and opportunities are connected and, through the interaction of different stakeholders - startups, companies, producers, investors, mentors and academies -, new solutions and businesses take shape”, says Maria Pilar Sepúlveda (photo), Transformation Director Digital from AgroGalaxy.

Innovation hubs play an important role in concentrating a network whose objective is to encourage interaction between different stakeholders, which can be startups, companies, investors, among others. Since its creation in 2017, AgTech Garage has been expanding its relationship with leading companies in its segments and currently has more than 70 partners and 980 connected startups with the aim of boosting the competitiveness of entrepreneurs in building innovative products and services for an increasingly digital, agile and sustainable agri-food chain.

Throughout 2021, AgroGalaxy intensified its digital transformation and service digitalization process with the aim of improving processes, innovating its business and, above all, providing the best experience by offering integrated solutions for producers. “This new partnership is a means for us to be increasingly closer to an innovative ecosystem to develop and offer an even more complete platform that positively impacts our customers’ production”, concludes Pilar.

The partnership with AgTech Garage is a complementary initiative to the recent launch of the AgroGalaxy Institute, which aims to encourage the application of innovative solutions that generate positive socio-environmental impact through agribusiness.

For José Tomé, CEO of AgTech Garage, the arrival of AgroGalaxy as an “Ecosystem Partner” will allow us to drive important sustainable innovation initiatives in the field. “It is a pleasure to count on AgroGalaxy in this initiative, as the company maintains a strong connection with farmers and knows the needs of rural producers very closely. Now, join our purpose, which is to feed the entrepreneurs who will feed the world.”
