The “Agrocooperation Technical Meeting: An awareness, countless benefits” took place on Thursday, June 1st, at the facilities of Embrapa Agropecuária Oeste, located on Rodovia BR 163, Km 253,6 in Dourados - MS. Iagro's Plant Health Inspection and Defense manager, Glaucy da Conceição Ortiz, highlighted the importance of joint action to encourage compliance in agricultural production. She highlighted that the Technical Meeting reinforces this partnership by providing technical information based on research. “We had important participation from production units, who sent technicians and were able to receive information validated by research, related to good agricultural and beekeeping practices, in addition to being updated on the main technologies adopted in the field. So, it is a set of technology and information that is sent to the production sector, so that decisions can be made more assertively”.
In addition to the lectures, the event featured testimonials from beekeepers and farmers from Dourados, highlighting the importance of collaboration between agricultural and beekeeping activities for sustainable growth and the promotion of good operational practices.
With the support of Sindag, Sindiveg, Andav and AEAMS, the campaign also has the support of the institutions: CREA-MS, FEAMS, IBRAVAG, SEBRAE, SENAR, SICREDI, EMBRAPA, BIOSUL and aims to promote good coexistence between agriculture, meliponiculture and beekeeping, seeking environmentally sustainable growth in agricultural and beekeeping production.
The Agrocooperation Technical Meeting provided an important opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthening relationships between the different actors involved in the agricultural sector. Farmers, agricultural aviation service providers, agricultural science professionals, meliponists and beekeepers were able to share experiences and learnings, contributing to the improvement of agricultural and beekeeping practices.
