FGVAgro releases this Friday (18/11), the results of its monthly survey on Agroindustry. In September/2022, Agroindustry presented an increase of 1,3% in its physical production compared to the same month in 2021, corresponding to the seventh consecutive non-negative record. The increase in agro-industrial production was mainly led by the Non-Food Products segment, which registered an expansion of 2,6% in the month. Food Products and Beverages also contributed positively to the sector's results, however, to a lesser extent, as it grew only 0,2%.

With the favorable results of recent months, agro-industrial production accumulates an increase of 0,8% in 2022 (January to September, compared to the same period in 2021). It is important to highlight that, at the moment, both segments of Agroindustry have already eliminated the year's losses and started to operate outside the negative field. In other words, while the Food Products and Beverages segment accumulated an increase of 1,4%, the Non-Food Products segment stopped contracting, registering stability (0,0%). In view of this and due to the maintenance of good future prospects for the Brazilian economy, FGVAgro revised upwards its projections for the sector until the end of the year, going from 1,9% to 2,2%, in relation to 2021.
