At a very special moment in its history and after recent investments totaling more than 62 million reais, with a new and modern industrial plant located in the city of Indaiatuba, in the interior of São Paulo, with important partnerships recently communicated to the market, Agrivalle announces the arrival of its new CEO, José Ovídio Bessa. He arrives with the challenge of continuing the mission built by Antonio Maia, current CEO and one of the company's founders, transforming Agrivalle into the most valuable bioinputs platform in the world, leading innovation in solutions and building new business models for agriculture .

Antônio Maia has dedicated himself to agribusiness for more than 40 years and will continue to follow the business closely, dedicating himself exclusively to the role of advisor to the company. “I will continue to serve on Agrivalle’s Board of Directors – as a farmer and one of the company’s founders, I will work to ensure that genuine interest in our customers’ needs remains at our core” says Maia.

Married and father of two children, agricultural engineer José Ovídio Bessa has accumulated several achievements throughout his career. With more than 25 years working in the agribusiness sector, he has held relevant positions developing functions in the areas of Sales, Marketing and as General Manager at FMC / Consagro. Before arriving at Agrivalle, he held the position of CEO at Fertiláqua: “It will be a pleasure to be alongside so many talented people who feel aligned with the purpose of expanding this bio-input platform in the market. Like them, I am convinced that it is possible to transform Agro into a tool capable of helping to solve even the planet’s climate problems”.

José Ovídio brings a different vision about the role of Agriculture on the planet: “Coexisting with nature does not mean keeping it untouched, but rather working it with maximum wisdom to extract our sustenance. In this sense, Agrivalle's commitment is to develop innovative and disruptive technological solutions to transform Agro into the main agent for climate regeneration. With our biological solutions for pest and disease control, as well as our plant nutrition solutions, we rationalize the use of chemical products, in addition to offering regeneration in soil microbiology. We at Agrivalle will be increasingly attentive and receptive to partners who want to engage in this transformation, with Agro as one of the main solutions to global warming”, he added.
