Massey Ferguson takes to Agrishow, from the 1st to the 5th of May, the new generation of the MF 9130 Plus Sprayer with electronic engine iEGR (Internal Exhaust Gas Recirculation System – translated from English to Portuguese), which complies with the new legislation environmental MAR-1 for reducing gas emissions, presenting high performance. The sprayer brings the most modern technology available on the market to guarantee greater yield at lower costs for the producer, comfort for the operator and precision in the application.

“The sprayer is the machine that works the hardest during the harvest, as it enters the field several times to carry out the necessary applications. It is also the one that most helps rural producers to maintain the maximum productive potential of the crop. Therefore, the farmer needs equipment that is robust, reliable and available to work in the field. timing for each application, as delays result in lost productivity and more costs”, says Vitor Kaminski, AGCO Sprayer Product Marketing supervisor.

The new version of the MF 9130 Plus Sprayer maintains the main features that made the product famous, such as 200 hp, flexible chassis, 4x4 traction, autopilot, telemetry, system End Cap for spraying, stainless steel spray piping and 1,65m free space – one of the largest free spaces in the segment. The news is that, with the reformulation, the machine begins to be produced with a global design, adopting the same guidelines as the equipment manufactured by AGCO Europe and Brazil.

Other innovations of the MF 9130 Plus:

- More efficient spraying: the new system End Cap does not allow residual pressure to exist in the piping, keeping it completely filled with pesticide. Another important feature of this system is the improvement in response time when starting and stopping the spraying sections, thus avoiding the waste of pesticides. As a result, the spraying carried out by the MF 9130 Plus is more uniform and of better quality.

- Better performance on ramps: Combined with the flexible chassis system, independent axles, active pneumatic suspension and 4x4 crossed hydrostatic transmission, the MF 9130 Plus is recommended for work on steeper terrain, as the new reducer with greater torque guarantees a ramp capacity of 28%. Thanks to this novelty, the Massey Ferguson sprayer is suitable for working in the different producing regions of Brazil, with different types of terrain and topography.

- More ergonomics: In order to increase comfort for the operator, the MF 9130 Plus has a pneumatic seat with armrest and ergonomically distributed controls, providing greater operational performance. The cabin has easy access, ample internal space and better visibility during application.

- Agility in cleaning and daily maintenance: The new compressed air outlets facilitate the cleaning and daily maintenance processes of the machine. To increase the availability of the equipment in the field, the new spray bar filtration system ensures a gain in operational performance of around 60% in the filter cleaning procedure.

- More practicality and safety: With a capacity of 40 liters and without contact with any other pipe on the machine, the clean water tank is directly connected to the tap located on the left side of the sprayer. Furthermore, the spray system's new relief valve also provides greater safety for technicians and operators during applications. If an excessive increase in spray pressure occurs during work, the valve will come into operation to protect the other components of the system.

- More precision: The automatic leveling system for the MF 9130 Plus spray booms now has an additional sensor for each boom, improving the quality of the information sent to the operator. With five points reading the terrain, spray bar height adjustments are more uniform and precise. In other words, the equipment's performance is better, especially on uneven terrain and even in areas with contour lines.

- Ease of operation and maintenance: the new pneumatic pump of the MF 9130 Plus guarantees greater operational performance and autonomy for washing pesticide bottles (a step required by law during the pesticide application process). With this new process, a volume of water 12 times smaller than the previous system is used. Furthermore, the spray piping and its stainless steel supports ensure a longer useful life for the equipment, since, as it is highly resistant to corrosion, stainless steel is not damaged by contact with chemical pesticides, providing lower maintenance costs and less stops during the application period. The new quick-connect clamps, present at various points in the piping, speed up maintenance and cleaning processes, in addition to improving sealing capacity. Another new feature is the increase in the capacity of the central frame accumulator, which improves shock absorption during transportation and work of the sprayer, guaranteeing a longer useful life for the components of the central frame and bars.
