The incorporation of precision agriculture technologies and more recently the adoption of digital agriculture - or Agriculture 4.0 - with the possibility of connecting machines and services, autonomous equipment, drones and big data via the internet, are transforming the landscape, routines, processes and habits of the country man. Aware of this scenario and the challenges it imposes, Jacto brings to Agrishow innovations aimed at optimizing production and ensuring greater efficiency and profitability for rural producers, with less environmental impact.
The new agricultural scenario has been closely monitored by the company, which celebrates 70 years in 2018 and which has, throughout its history, been anticipating trends in the sector.
“Over these 70 years of history, the company has presented different products and technologies, aiming to meet the specific needs of farmers in the different regions where it operates. The search for innovations is in the company's DNA. It is Jacto's commitment to guarantee farmers access to technologies that make them increasingly competitive and with the possibility of optimizing their production”, comments Fernando Gonçalves, president of Jacto Agrícola.
For the 25th edition of AGRISHOW, the company formatted the Innovation Space aiming to demonstrate technologies, resources and tools present in its equipment that can optimize and reduce production costs, increase competitiveness and provide greater profitability to the producer, in addition to showing concepts which will soon be available in our products, to serve an agriculture increasingly focused on information management, precision, saving resources and reducing environmental impact.
The space will consist of six stations that will demonstrate the technologies, as well as a simulator where visitors can have an experience using our sprayers. The company's portfolio will be available at the spray nozzle station, with a technical team available for recommendations and answering questions. On one of the spray benches, a new spray control with PWM technology will be demonstrated, the main benefit of which is to maintain the pressure and, consequently, the droplet size, even when there is a variation in speed due to any external reason, such as unevenness in the terrain, for example. On another bench, Spot Spray technology will be demonstrated, which allows, through an optical sensor, to apply the herbicide only where plants are present, reducing cost, environmental impact and product resistance. The technology is extremely useful in controlling pests and weeds.
The Innovation Space will also present the products from the Otmis Line for Precision Agriculture, with emphasis on the launch of the Omni 500 and 700 equipment, as well as other technologies that can be incorporated into the products, such as autopilot, light bars and telemetry.
The fertilizer technologies present in the Uniport 5030 NPK and Tellus 10.000 NPK will also be demonstrated, complementing the set of innovations to be presented to customers during the event.
“Jacto is a cutting-edge technological company and that is why we work hard to anticipate concepts that are later consolidated in the market. This space is to demonstrate the innovations available in current products, and concepts that will soon be available in our products, aiming to meet the producer's demands for greater efficiency and profitability. With this vision focused on innovation and listening to the demands of the producer, we prepare to meet the challenges of this increasingly competitive agriculture”, assesses Wanderson Tosta, Marketing Director at Jacto.
Check out the details of the launches and other news that the company brings to the event:
Uniport 2030 - Jacto expands its family of self-propelled sprayers with the launch of the Uniport 2030. The highlight is that the model meets the need for smaller self-propelled sprayers, but with greater traction capacity that allows working on a wide variety of terrains. The sprayer has superior performance compared to similar models on the market. It has a reservoir with a capacity of 2.000 liters, with options of 24 and 30 meters of bar. The 1,60 m free span increases the availability of the Uniport 2030 in larger crops. The 275-liter fuel tank means the equipment has the longest range on the market in this category. The 4x4 hydrostatic transmission, with automatic traction control, together with a powerful 198 hp engine and low weight, makes it possible to spray terrain with slopes of up to 30>#/b###. For superior performance and control over spraying and operations, the Uniport 2030 also features a complete Otmis technological package for Precision Agriculture.
Uniport 3030 Canavieiro – The Uniport 3030 Canavieiro is another Jacto launch for spraying. It is the only sprayer developed specifically for sugarcane cultivation, seeking better performance and application quality, with less environmental impact and reduced production costs. Among the main differentiators of the equipment are its versatility to operate on sugarcane plantations, which is a large crop, with more resistant and robust components for working with this crop, which requires almost triple the number of working hours. compared to cereals, and high precision in the application of pesticides. There are two tire options that provide greater stability between planting lines and less compaction. The free space is adjustable to two positions, reaching a maximum height of 1,75 m, offering greater versatility and increasing its availability for caring for crops in an advanced stage of development. The bars are robust, with a more resistant frame and lifting arms and suitable for work on borders and trims. The equipment also has a set of pendants for localized application.
Uniport 3030 NPK – The new generation of self-propelled fertilizer machine was developed especially for localized application of fertilizers in sugarcane crops. The load capacity of 3.000 kg and the application of fertilizers in 10 simultaneous lines allow it to develop high daily operational capacity. The airflow distribution system provides high uniformity and places the fertilizer in the right place.
Tellus 10.000 NPK traction fertilizer machine - The traction fertilizer machine has a 10.000 kg capacity reservoir and distributes fertilizers over a wide application range, up to 50 meters, in addition to the application of powdered products. The Tellus 10.000 NPK has a hydraulically driven transmission, requires a tractor with a minimum power of 110 hp and works at speeds of 4 to 18 km/h. It has two types of hydraulic pump coupling, where the customer can make the choice that best suits their tractor. Furthermore, it can work on a maximum gauge of 2,70 m with the reservoir filled to its maximum level. Among the technological differences that enable a new level for broadcast fertilization are: PrecisionWay System, SmartSet, Border Control, Automatic Section Control and Otmis technological package for Precision Agriculture with Omni 700, bringing together functions such as light bar (GPS) , automatic two-section controller (standard), variable rate application (standard) and TerraStar C signal correction (optional).
42-meter spray bar: Jacto presents a 42-meter spray bar in this edition of Agrishow, with a hybrid concept, made of steel and carbon fiber. The prototype combines the durability and low cost of steel, in addition to the lightness and resistance of carbon fiber. These characteristics result in the development of large, resistant and lower-cost bars. The concept will be presented in the Uniport 4530 which, with this boom, can have an operational yield of up to 90 ha/h, 12,5% higher compared to 36 meter booms. The crushing rate of Uniport 4530 with 42 meter bars is 14% lower compared to 36 meter bars.
Arbus 4000 Tower – focusing on the citrus market, Jacto presents the Arbus 4000 Tower tractorized sprayer. The machine combines the Tower deflector with the strong tradition in the segment, the robustness and safety of previous models for different orchard sizes. The electric drive, with opening and closing of the spray, is done directly from the cabin. This deflector allows the spray nozzles to get closer to the target, reducing the distance traveled by the droplet and reducing the exposure time to drift factors, such as wind and temperature. Furthermore, the deflector directs the air, improving its distribution, adapting to the shape of the plant, avoiding energy waste. These characteristics make it possible to improve the quality of the application, especially those that require greater penetration. The equipment also has a removable branch, which allows maintenance to be carried out on the ground, providing greater agility and safety in maintenance.
Precision Agriculture – Jacto presents new products from the Otmis line. The Omni 500 and Omni 700 products were developed to reduce costs and increase productivity in small, medium and large properties. The Omni 500 facilitates the spraying operation, ensuring small producers have access to technology that was only available in self-propelled sprayers. The Omni 700 has greater precision between passes and also allows the use of automatic section cutting, providing greater precision and facilitating the spraying operation. The equipment also has the Agis Operation Repeater, capable of repeating, in a second pass, the machine's travel speed profile and the height control of the bars recorded by the operator during spraying.
Consortium: option for planned purchase and better negotiation - Planning to purchase in cash by paying in installments, thus enabling better negotiation and guaranteed delivery. These are characteristics for acquiring machinery and equipment via consortium, an option that has been growing in recent years and which presents itself as an important tool for producers in times of difficult access to credit. To serve producers looking for different ways of acquiring equipment, Jacto has had the Jacto National Consortium for more than two decades and is starting its second group of shareholders to acquire products from the Uniport Family's line of Automotive Pulverizers, Coffee Harvesters and Automotive Fertilizers. The models Uniport 2000, Uniport 2500 Star, Uniport 2030, Uniport 2530, Uniport 3030, Uniport 3030 Canavieiro, Uniport 4530, Uniport 5030 NPK and the KTR 3500 and K3500 coffee harvesters are available for purchase under this plan. During Agrishow, Jacto prepared a team to especially serve those interested in acquiring a share in this new group. Specialists in the modality will be available to answer questions, explain how the modality works, as well as all the advantages of taking advantage of the plan at the time.
