The 29th edition of Agrishow, the main agricultural technology fair in Latin America, officially started today, in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo (SP). To guarantee a better experience for visitors and exhibitors, the event organizers made investments in infrastructure, such as food areas, bathrooms, hydration and mobility points.
The food courts, of which there are 13 in total, will offer a greater variety of meals, with restaurants, snack bars and food trucks. In addition, the bathroom structures were expanded and the operation was remodeled to offer more comfort and practicality, also featuring several hydration points.
In relation to mobility, the plan for 2024 included the widening of internal roads, expanded parking areas and optimized their access with the aim of absorbing the flow of visitors as quickly as possible to the fair areas. And to leave the event, new exits were created that provide access to points with better flow on the Pref highway. Antônio Duarte Nogueira and other surrounding roads.
Opening ceremony
During the opening ceremony, held yesterday (28), the president of Agrishow, João Marchesan, highlighted the importance of promoting the machinery and implements sector for agriculture. “As Brazil invests in modernizing its machines, improving irrigation and expanding storage capacity, we will be strengthening the essential pillars to boost our economy and promote GDP growth. Brazil is already an agricultural power and could become even greater. There are markets and we have land, climate, technology, farmers and machines,” said Marchesan.
