With news focused on agricultural technology, Kuhn do Brasil launched its new Elite self-transportable planter at Agrishow. With the advantage of not needing to disassemble to close the transport width of 3,20 m, this articulated planter is equipped with the exclusive on-board downforce system, pneumatic fertilizer distribution in 3 sections, Precision Planting vSet 2 seed doser and electric controller v-Drive.

Easy to transport, the equipment has a working width of 13,5 m, spacings with 28 rows of 50 cm and 30 rows of 45 cm and reservoir capacities of 3.200 L for seeds, 4.600 L for fertilizer and 1.200 L for inoculant.

In addition to the novelty, Kuhn is exhibiting for the first time at Agrishow the Optimer disc cultivator, a fast harrow made up of 48 independent discs distributed in two rows. The front part has a cutting roller to crush organic matter, facilitating decomposition. The working width is 6 meters with a depth of 5 to 15 cm and a working speed of 10 to 15 km/h, in addition to a practical transport system with a width of just 3 meters. Among its advantages, the machine allows the removal of superficial to deep cultural remains and the destruction of vegetation cover.

Technology and haymaking

The company's stand also has an area dedicated to the presentation of technologies and another dedicated to haymaking, reinforcing its "Perfect Bale" campaign with emphasis on the VBP 3260 Baler.

It has a variable chamber producing bales of 80 - 160 cm, Opticut rotor with 23 knives with distances between knives of 4,5 cm, tilting knife floor for quick unlocking, bale chamber with progressive density, automatic chain lubrication, tying the bale with net, two simultaneous operations ensuring a high quality bale, Intelliwrap wrapper with several plastic layer options and VTI 60 monitor to monitor the entire operation

More Food Program

Another highlight at Kuhn's stand is the space dedicated to the Federal Government's “Mais Alimentos” program, aimed at financing agricultural machinery and implements for family farming.

The environment includes machines such as coupled fertilizer distributors from the Accura line, trailed and coupled sprayers from the Arbo line, bar sprayers from the Gardien line and small planters. Experts are also available to help with the best choice and search for financing.
