A Ucrania, the second largest country in terms of area in Europe, has stood out as an important destination for agricultural technologies developed by Hexagon's Agriculture division, based in Florianópolis. In 2018, the company sold more than 280 units of the HxGN AgrOn Virtual Guide to the Ukrainian market, a route guidance system for tractors, machines and agricultural implements integrated with the Ti5 display. The goal for 2019 is to grow 20%, reaching the sale of 340 units by December 2019.

The performance is the result of a partnership with frendt, one of the main Hexagon Agriculture resellers in the world. Specialized in precision agriculture systems, frendt has been one of the biggest agents of innovation in the Ukrainian agricultural segment, operating in more than three thousand farms. In addition to Hexagon Machine Automation solutions, the distributor sells antennas, such as RTK. To increase sales, the company is betting on the strategy of increasing inventory, gaining agility in delivery to the end consumer.

“The success of our solutions in Ucrania is due to Hexagon's alignment with frendt. We share the objective of generating value for customers to build lasting and successful relationships”, says Bernardo de Castro, president of Hexagon's agriculture division. The company has commercial partners in over 35 countries, including South Africa, Australia and Indonesia.

For the founder and CEO of frendt, Vitaliy Shuberanskiy, the quality and reliability of products make the difference. “Hexagon’s production is carried out in accordance with the requirements and standards of the countries sold, including quality control and tests to detect defects”, he highlights. Another difference is the maintenance of continuous technical training programs for partners, in addition to after-sales centers, to ensure that support for the end customer is the same anywhere in the world.
