Forecast indicates thunderstorms and large volumes of rain in the South Region in the coming days
In some locations, rainfall can exceed 100 millimeters in 24 hours.
Registration is now open for the first call for the ByMySoil program, a cooperative partnership between Dabi Business Park and Startup ByMyCell to promote sustainable and efficient agricultural practices, incorporating soil microbiota analysis as a fundamental part of the process.
In this first phase of the Open Innovation Program in Precision and Regenerative Agriculture, up to 30 small, medium and large rural producers interested in adopting precision agriculture practices for analyzing soil microorganisms will be selected.
The selection will be made based on criteria that include the presentation of productivity maps of properties from the last three years, which will be analyzed to provide the collection points necessary for the program.
“This initiative seeks to benefit rural producers who are committed to adopting innovative technologies and improving the management of their businesses through the adoption of practices to increase the efficiency, sustainability and profitability of rural properties”, explains the founder and CTO of ByMyCell , Rafael Silva Rocha.
Each producer will be able to register 200 to 500 hectares for soil microbiota analysis, which will be provided by ByMyCell free of charge. The soil samples collected will be analyzed at ByMyCell, in Ribeirão Preto (SP).
The registration period runs until October 20, 2023 and interested parties must register by filling out the form available on the program website.
The launch will take place on November 10, 2023 at Dabi Business Park in person, and soil samples must be sent by selected producers from January to May 2024.
“This action of efforts and cooperation between Dabi Business Park, ByMyCell and rural producers is in synergy with our mission by creating a community of agents committed to innovation and sustainability in agriculture and by facilitating and promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences between rural producers and specialists in the field of sustainable agriculture”, assesses the head of the Dabi Business Park innovation hub, Ricardo Agostinho.
