Agricultural estimation methodology is shown in CNA

The methodology used by the National Supply Company (Conab) in collecting agricultural data will be presented, this Friday (6), at the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), in Brasília.

During the meeting, Conab technicians will show participants the parameters used in preparing coffee harvest bulletins, recording the evolution of planting and harvesting during the agricultural year - as shown by the record volume of the crop in the last bulletin published in website in May. Another aspect addressed at the meeting will be the survey of the technological package used by the producer through production costs.

The numbers obtained by the Company in these surveys are important elements in organizing the federal government's Minimum Price Guarantee Policy (PGPM) and help in determining the level of growth of the Brazilian economy from an agricultural perspective.
