AGCO, a global manufacturer and distributor of agricultural machinery and precision technology, is the first company in the self-propelled machinery sector to be accredited by the federal government's Green Mobility and Innovation (Mover) program. The initiative aims to support companies that develop innovative and sustainable technologies, with a focus on the use of low-carbon fuels, through tax credits that help reduce operating costs.

According to Ana Helena Andrade, AGCO's director of government affairs for South America, this achievement demonstrates the company's commitment to leading the development of high-tech and sustainable agricultural solutions. "Being the first agricultural machinery company to participate in the Mover Program is a reflection of our vision for the future. We are focused on providing high-tech products that help farmers face productivity challenges, contributing to more sustainable and efficient agriculture," she emphasizes.

"Participation in the Mover Program will allow us to direct more resources towards innovation, driving the development of solutions that benefit both farmers and the environment," he says. Fabricio Natal (pictured), AGCO’s global vice president of engineering.

Launched in December 2023, the initiative is part of the Brazilian Automotive Policy and expands the sustainability requirements for the country's fleet, stimulating the production of new technologies in the areas of mobility and logistics. The goal of the program is to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, establishing minimum requirements for vehicles to leave the factories more economical, safer and less polluting.
