AGCO, a global manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announces its new Director of Purchasing South America, Carlos Martorano. The executive, who arrives at the company this month, will report directly to the president of AGCO South America, Luís Felli, and to the senior vice president of Global Purchasing, Josip Tomasevic.

Martorano assumes the responsibilities of defining and executing the global and South American purchasing strategy, with the main focus being cost management and optimization, with the latent objective of always maintaining the best solutions without compromising the quality that the company values ​​at over all these years.

The executive has a degree in Mechanical Production Engineering, from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FEI), and an MBA in Business Administration, from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). In his CV, he has accumulated experience in multinationals such as CNH Industrial, where he was head of Purchasing for Latin America and Australia, Iveco – Latin America, Fiat Group Automobiles (Italy), Volkswagen and General Motors, as a Purchasing executive, generating significant results for the companies he worked for.
