AGCO Power introduces CORE engines

AGCO focuses effort on its CORE engine line. The part was developed by AGCO Power. It required an investment of EUR 50 million. It was initially presented in October, in Germany. There is still no forecast of its arrival in Brazil.

These engines should be compatible with alternative fuels in the future, such as hydrogen, ethanol, methanol and biogas, according to company information.

"With small changes, the CORE engine platform will allow electric hybrid applications, with excellent performance", explains Fernando Silva, commercial coordinator AGCO Power.

The line will be assembled in Linnavuori, Finland. Initially, they will equip Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 tractors. The first in the series is the CORE 75.
