Owner of agricultural machinery and solutions brands such as Massey Ferguson, Valtra and Fendt, AGCO was invited to participate in the IV International Strategic Management Congress, promoted by the Integrated Regional University of Alto Uruguai and Missões (URI), in Santo Ângelo (RS ). Werner Santos, vice president of Marketing and Sales at AGCO South America, opens the event program on October 23rd with the conference “Perspectives for the future of industry 4.0”.

This is a topic widely discussed by AGCO, as it draws a parallel between the current moment and the future of machine automation and how the professional is inserted in this reality. “Debates are important to discuss innovative solutions with a focus on increasing productivity in all sectors of society. It is an honor for the company to be able to talk to such specialized people and to be in the academic world, again, always adding new ideas”, says Werner.

The congress is a scientific event that aims to debate and propose dynamics and solutions in the field of management of public and private organizations, through its seminars. The meeting takes place every two years and is coordinated by the Professional Master's Program in Strategic Management of Organizations, at URI.
