Aligned with the new analytical parameter of market numbers that will come into effect from 2017, when information regarding market share will be analyzed in retail sales, in addition to wholesale sales, the AGCO – global manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment – advances with the new DDI platform (Data Dealer Integration). DDI is a system developed by the company that standardizes information on sales and stock numbers for each dealership with high efficiency and in a simplified manner. AGCO's Information Technology area allows the multinational's 390 points of sale throughout Brazil to join and work with the platform, reporting sales data in an easier and integrated manner, in an even more accurate manner. For the development of the platform, professional partners specialized in technological solutions were selected and approved, such as Solutions, Linx, Consystem and CGI.

Felipe Soares, IT director at AGCO South America, highlights that the project brought AGCO and dealerships even closer together so that, together, they can better serve end customers. “More accurate information on completed businesses is essential for decision-making, analysis of market movements and execution of business plans." He also reinforces that the active involvement of dealerships and attention to the quality of data entered on the platform has been key to the success of the project, which provided accurate and simple-to-operate technology.

AGCO South America's dealership development manager, Luiz Broda, highlights the importance of integration provided with data. “The DDI project allows us to visualize the commercial reality of dealerships in an improved perspective. With this integration we have the market reality even closer and can define new actions, which is why it is so important that the dealership network keeps information updated as sales occur."
