According to the latest analysis of the Edenred Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL), a survey that consolidates the price behavior of transactions at gas stations, providing an accurate average, both regular diesel and S-10 had significant drops in April, compared to March. Regular diesel in the country had an average price of R$6,38, registering a drop of 1,85%. The S-10 type registered an average price of R$6,44 in the fourth month of 2025, after a drop of 1,83% in the same comparison.

“The drop in diesel prices in April is a direct reflection of the two downward adjustments made by Petrobras throughout the month. These changes in the sale price helped to reduce the prices charged at gas stations, and also created a scenario of greater competitiveness for the fuel,” said Renato Mascarenhas, Director of Network, Operations and Transformation at Edenred Mobilidade.

In the individual analysis of each region of the country in April, IPTL also observed significant drops in diesel prices. Regular diesel saw its biggest drop in the Central-West, where the fuel cost R$6,45, a drop of 2,57%. S-10 saw its biggest drop in the South: 2,35%, reaching an average price of R$6,23 in the region, the lowest in the country among the regions. The lowest price for regular diesel was also recorded in the South: R$6,18, after a drop of 2,37%.

The highest prices for regular diesel and S-10 in the country in April were recorded in the North, where they cost, on average, R$6,95, after a drop of 1,70%, and R$6,85, after a drop of 1,15%, respectively.

In the survey by states, IPTL found that the highest average for regular diesel in April was recorded in Acre, at R$7,83, even after a 0,25% reduction compared to March. Paraná appears as the state where drivers found diesel at the lowest price in April: at R$6,16, after a 2,53% drop compared to the previous month. Ceará, in turn, showed the most significant reduction in the country, at 3,29%, being sold at R$6,47.

Regarding diesel S-10, the highest average price recorded in April was also in Acre: R$7,85, after a 0,25% increase compared to March. The lowest average price of the month was identified in Pernambuco: R$6,16, after a 3,30% reduction in the price of fuel in the state, the largest among states in the country in the period.

No state showed an increase in any type of diesel in April compared to March.
