ADM announces new executive vice president and CFO

Monish Patolawala has over 25 years of experience overseeing global finance and technology teams

ADM (Archer Daniels Midland Company) announced the appointment of Monish Patolawala to the position of executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). He assumes his duties on August 1, 2024. Patolawala will succeed Ismael Roig, who has served as ADM's interim CFO since January 2024.

Monish Patolawala has more than 25 years of experience overseeing global finance and technology teams at leading industrial and healthcare companies, including most recently 3M. As EVP and CFO of ADM, Patolawala will be responsible for overseeing global finance and accounting, global business services, global technology and business strategy.

Prior to joining ADM, Monish Patolawala served as President and CFO of 3M Company, where he led finance, country prioritization and governance, information technology, business strategy and global service centers.

Prior to joining 3M, Patolawala spent more than two decades at GE in various finance roles, including CFO of GE Healthcare, a $20 billion division, from 2015 to 2020, as well as head of operations transformation across GE. 2019 to 2020. Patolawala also serves on the board of directors of Biogen Inc.
