Adama presents advances in formulation and reinforces partnership with distributors at the Andav 2024 Congress

At the event, the company highlights its Value Innovation strategy and the strengthening of partnerships with distributors and farmers through its Somar program

Adama, a company that is part of one of the largest global agribusiness holdings, participates in the Andav 2024 Congress presenting its Value Innovation strategy. The event, which takes place at a significant moment for the company, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024, is the consolidation of Adama as a reference in formulation innovation.

"Over the last 10 years, our strong knowledge in chemistry and formulations, aligned with our brand promise to listen, understand and deliver, has meant that we have been able to launch 25 products with innovative and sustainable formulations," he says Alexandre pires (in the video), Marketing Director at Adama Latam. "Today we work on the concept of value innovation, with innovative and sustainable products that generate value for customers, partners and Adama.”

Leader in registered active ingredients in the world, Adama reinforces its commitment to developing exclusive products and solutions that meet the specific needs of Brazilian farmers. The company has invested in new formulation technologies to offer products with better performance, physical-chemical profile and favorable sustainable footprint, such as the exclusive TOV formulation technology, present in its fungicides Armero, Almada and Blindado TOV and in its herbicides Apresa and Cheval. In addition to the Araddo herbicide, winner in the category of best innovation in formulation at the Crop Science Awards 2022.

During the Andav 2024 Congress, Adama also highlights the Somar Relationship Program, an initiative that aims to strengthen ties with its distribution channels and cooperatives, which bring the company closer to the farmer. Created in 2012, the program has already invested more than 500 million reais in developing channels and creating deeper partnerships. With around 700 annual actions, the program offers a variety of options for using resources, including team training, demand generation and customer relationships.

Operation and business in Brazil

Adama Brasil, the company's largest industrial unit outside Israel, has approximately 700 employees and a portfolio that encompasses herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biosolutions. With manufacturing units in Londrina (PR) and Taquari (RS), the company reaffirms its commitment to Brazilian agribusiness. "Our presence at the event is an opportunity to demonstrate how innovation in formulation translates into real benefits for the farmer and distributors. We are excited to present our Value Innovation and how it has driven the development of products that stand out in the market current", reinforces Pires.

Adama's participation in the congress also marks the company's evolution in its sustainable approach. "Over the past 10 years, we have not only innovated formulations, but also taken significant steps toward more sustainable solutions, including the launch of our biosolutions platform, which includes biologics and plant biostimulation products, as well as products with more than 60 % of biodegradable components with less impact on the environment", concludes the spokesperson.
