Adama will be present at the World AgriTech South America Summit, an online event that will take place on July 29th and 30th and will bring together leading experts from global agribusiness in lectures, debates and round tables that will address topics related to technology, sustainability, innovation and finance.

Adama's innovation manager, Roberson Marczak, will host the round table that will take place on 29/07, at 12:45 pm, and will have the theme: "Protection and Digitization of Crops: How to develop platforms that make a significant difference in profitability and sustainability of farmers?"

Marczak highlights the importance of innovation and technology in agribusiness: "AgTech services are part of Adama's business strategy and portfolio and are very aligned with our proposal and vision. The integration between agriculture and digital technologies is the key to taking agriculture to a new level of productivity. The adoption of AgTech tools will have a similar effect on farms as the effect that digital technologies have brought to entertainment, banking and travel and other industries."

AgTech products and services are already a reality in Adama's portfolio and Roberson Marczak cites some examples: "among the solutions we offer today, whether directly through Adama or through partnerships, we highlight the support for agronomic decisions with quantifiable data; minimization of potential negative environmental impact and agronomic risks and increasing the efficiency of our products through correct spraying".

Recently, the company reformulated Adama Clima - already known on rural properties in all regions of Brazil for its accuracy in climate forecasts - with new features that position it as a new service provision platform. The platform brings new features such as average temperatures and precipitation over the last three years, a new station location map with information on accumulated rainfall in the last 24 hours or 7 days, degree-day information through the calculation of accumulated temperature and greater capacity data export. All this to further assist farmers in the decision-making process for agricultural operations.
