The Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) filed a Direct Action of Unconstitutionality by Omission (ADO) in the Federal Supreme Court (STF) asking the National Congress to determine the regulation of the constitutional provision that provides for the expropriation of rural property due to the finding of slave labor.

Furthermore, while the law provided for in art. 243 of the Federal Constitution, asked the PGR to determine the application of the Law 7.560 / 86 and the Law 8.257 / 91 to cases involving slave labor in rural areas.

The action received number 77 (ADO 77). The action had been distributed to minister Alexandre de Moraes. However, due to a regulatory error, there will be a new distribution in the coming days.
