Consumer market, innovations and technology will be highlighted during the 29th International Congress of the Wheat Industry, promoted by the Brazilian Association of the Wheat Industry – Abitrigo between the 25th and 27th of September in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), at Bourbon Cataratas do Iguaçu Thermas Eco Resort.

The third panel of the event, whose theme is “Consumer Market Trends”, will discuss new directions in the consumption of food, pasta, biscuits and bread, with the participation of the President of the Brazilian Association of Biscuit, Pasta and Bread & Cake Industries Industrializados (ABIMAPI), Cláudio Zanão, Euromonitor International research analyst Mikaely Correa and the founder and President of “La Panière”, Pascal Cantenot, moderated by the President of Moageira Irati Marcelo Vosnika.

“I believe it will be a very rich exchange because it is a panel with speakers from different profiles who will add analyzes in their respective categories of specialization. We will contribute with market data (global and local) and consumer and food industry trends, highlighting product categories that use wheat as one of their main manufacturing inputs, showing inspiring cases in Brazil and around the world”, highlights Mikaely Correa.

"We will bring to companies assertive insights into consumer trends that can add to the ideal product or service. This is essential for the business to be prepared and updated, consequently increasing the chances of sales", reiterates Cláudio Zanão.

Panel 4, the last of the congress, whose theme is “Innovations and Technologies in Brazil and the World”, will address how existing technologies on the market can be used by businesses. The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Paulo Alvim, and the Co-Founder of AAA Innovation and Founder of Disrupt Investment and Innovation, Arthur Igreja, mediated by the President of the Deliberative Council of Abitrigo, Rogério Tondo, will be part of this debate.

“Expectations for the event are very high. There are so many new technologies available on the market, countless topics to debate and try to understand how this applies to business. An assessment will also be made of what remains a solid post-pandemic trend. It will also be an opportunity to discuss the technological scenario, innovations, new experiences and which points need attention in this context”, states Igreja.

Registration for the physical and online formats of the congress can be made via the official event website available here.
