Abiove maintains an estimate of 153,2 million tons for soybean production in 2024

Data indicates few changes in soybean meal production, crushing and production; internal oil consumption saw a small increase

According to the data collected, the entity's projections for the current cycle have undergone few changes. The expectation of soybean grain production remains maintained at 153,2 million/t, as well as that of crushing at 54,5 million/t. Soybean meal production remains estimated at 41,7 million/t and oil at 11 million/t.

Domestic oil consumption increased slightly (200 thousand/t), going from 9,7 million/t to the current 9,9 million/t.

Monthly Processing

Processing in June was 4,2 million/t, a drop of 1,6% compared to May 2024 and a drop of 5,5% compared to June 2023, when adjusted by the sample percentage of 90,6 %.

Foreign trade

Export volumes are forecast at: 97,8 million/t of soybeans, 1,15 million/t of soybean oil and 21,8 million/t of bran (+100 thousand/t in relation to the previous survey) . Revenues from exports of soy complex products are estimated at US$51,9 billion in 2024.
