This group also develops products for the production of sugar and ethanol, fertilizer for crops and equipment for water treatment in plants.
In turn, Yara Brasil Fertilizandos SA, headquartered in Porto Alegre (RS), is a subsidiary of the international group Yara International ASA. Founded in Norway in 1905, Yara is globally recognized for its sustainable solutions for agriculture and industry, integrating technological development and productivity with environmental conservation. In Brazil, Yara Group companies operate on several fronts, including the commercialization of industrial chemical products, raw materials for fertilizers and the production of basic nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers.
The acquisition operation, currently under analysis by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade), involves specific Yara assets and rights related to the production of NPK final fertilizers in liquid format.
