Farmers continue planting summer grain crops in RS
Soybean sowing is in its initial phase, and it is estimated that 3% of crops have already been planted
The use of technological fertilizer to promote soil health and provide nutrients to plants resulted in increased profitability on the farm of soybean farmer Sidney Fujivara, from Capão Bonito (SP), a client of Mosaic Fertilizers, one of the largest producers of combined phosphates and potassium.
With MicroEssentials fertilizer, the harvest reached 108,81 bags per hectare (sc/ha), an increase of 41,09 sc/ha in relation to the State's average productivity, which is 67,72 sc/ha, according to the Institute Brazilian Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
"It was a great satisfaction to achieve this result. To achieve efficiency in farming, technical knowledge is essential. Brazilian agriculture is tropical, the soils have low fertility, so the use of fertilizers is essential”, says Fujivara, who won first place in the Southeast regional ranking, Irrigated category, of the 14th National Soy Maximum Productivity Challenge, held annually by the Brazilian Soy Strategic Committee (CESB).The harvest also secured second position in the national ranking.
“Mr. Fujivara prove that management carried out with dedication and technology generates healthy and fertile soils for high productivity. As a partner with rural producers, Mosaic Fertilizers is continually committed to developing and offering the best solutions to the market, so that, through input technology, crops achieve increasingly better results”, says Maria Luisa Aguiar, Product Manager at company.
Developed in an exclusive and patented process by Mosaic Fertilizers, the MicroEssentials formula features Fusion technology, which increases the efficiency of nutrient absorption by plants. "It is a balanced product, with good quality formulation and raw material, which has shown increased productivity in different types of soil and planting times. We continue to test the fertilizer to continually prove the benefits", says Fujivara.
MicroEssentials brings together, in a single granule, decisive nutrients for soybean production: high solubility phosphorus and two forms of sulfur. The combination helps with uniform distribution and improves operational performance, which is provided by the difference in immediate supply of sulfur in the form of sulfate and gradual release provided by elemental sulfur.
With the most complete plant nutrition portfolio on the market, Mosaic Fertilizers constantly invests in the development of technologies that generate chemical, physical and biological benefits to soils and production processes. In this way, the company helps farmers achieve the maximum genetic potential of their crops, contributing to the expansion of more sustainable agricultural systems adapted to scenarios of climate change and food demand.
