With external decline, cotton value falls again in Brazil

After two weeks of recording small increases, cotton lint prices weakened on the domestic market this week. According to Cepea researchers, the pressure came mainly from external devaluations.

Furthermore, some sellers showed greater interest in negotiating new lots in the national spot, given the need to “make cash”. As industries and traders are also more active, liquidity is greater.
