National buyers are staying away from negotiations involving large volumes, paying attention to good expectations for the summer harvest and transit stocks. Many sellers, in turn, are flexible with prices, given the need to free up space in warehouses.

Conab estimated, in a report released on November 9, that production for the 2022/23 Brazilian harvest should total 126,39 million tons, a drop of 500 thousand tons compared to the previous report, but still 12% higher than the season. previous and a record.
