Some soybean farmers in the Center-West and South of Brazil consulted by Cepea have started harvesting the 2019/20 harvest. As for marketing, Brazilian producers are starting the year cautiously when it comes to soybean sales. Many focus on fulfilling fixed-term contracts, field work and crop development. These sellers consulted by Cepea are concerned about the possible delay in harvesting in part of the squares and the quality of the crops, due to the irregular climate during development, which could even reduce productivity. Furthermore, the high dollar also reinforces the sales retraction, considering that they maintain domestic prices. www.cepea.esalq.usp.br
