Wheat prices remain firm in Brazil, even with the harvest of a possible record harvest approaching completion. Second Cepea researchers, support comes especially from the appreciated dollar and the import parity.

In the field, Emater/RS signaled that, until November 18th, in view of the favorable climate, the wheat harvest in Rio Grande do Sul had reached 85% of the area.

In Paraná, information from Seab/Deral indicates that, until the 16th of November, field activities were almost completed in the state, with 97% of the area already harvested. Cepea employees reported that, in the state state of Paraná, the quality of wheat was harmed mainly by rain in harvest period.

In Santa Catarina, data from Epagri/Cepa show that the harvest in the state it accounted for 28,5% of the area by the end of October.
