The wheat harvest is advancing in Paraná, but drops in productivity and quality of the cereal have been evident in many regions. According to Cepea researchers, this scenario, which is also seen in Argentina – Brazil's main cereal supplier – is due to the unfavorable climate.

In addition to the field, national agents are also paying attention to conversations between Russia and Ukraine for grain exports through the Black Sea, but speculation indicates that the Russian country is unlikely to renew the agreement. In this case, importers would have to turn to the United States and Argentina.

As for domestic prices, they continue to rise, especially in Paraná.
