Combustion engines and fuel cells, powered by climate-neutral hydrogen, can be used to power off-road vehicles
Starting this week, technicians from the National Supply Company (Conab) will visit the state of Paraná to gather information regarding the costs of producing wheat and beans. Visits to update wheat costs will take place on the 29th and 30th, in the municipalities of Dois Vizinhos and Cascavel, respectively. In the case of beans, they will take place on the 27th, in the municipality of Francisco Beltrão. The selection criterion was based on the production volume of these grains and their importance for the South Region.
The production cost is the sum of the values of all resources (inputs and services) used in the production process of an agricultural activity. The information is collected through a panel, which is a technical meeting in which the entities of the production chain, by consensus, characterize the region's modal production unit and indicate the technical coefficients related to agricultural inputs and the prices that make up the technological package. of this unit.
Panel participants can be: rural producers, class representatives (unions, federation, confederation), cooperatives and associations, technical assistance and rural extension, social movements, state and non-state bodies linked to agriculture, financial institutions , agricultural research, academic centers, dealerships and/or manufacturers of inputs, agricultural machinery and implements and others invited by the Company.
The production cost is a tool for controlling and managing productive activities. Through it, information is generated to assist in decision-making by rural producers and in the formulation of strategies by the public and private sector. The data is also used by the Federal Government as one of the main parameters in the preparation of minimum prices and in the calculation of guarantee values used as a reference for the Price Guarantee Program for Family Farming (PGPAF).
Furthermore, they serve as a reference for calculations when obtaining credit through Financing for Agricultural Product Storage (FEE) and the Minimum Price Guarantee Policy (PGPM).
