With the aim of strengthening and promoting the growth of the Brazilian wheat production chain, the 29th International Wheat Industry Congress, an event organized by the Brazilian Wheat Industry Association – Abitrigo, will be held on the 25th, 26th and 27th of September 2022, in hybrid format. In-person participation will be promoted at Bourbon Cataratas do Iguaçu Thermas Eco Resort, in Foz do Iguaçu (PR).
“This year, in addition to bringing the sector together to share knowledge and debate the future of the wheat chain, the Congress will be an opportunity to establish new connections in favor of the development of the cereal in the country”, explains the Executive President of Abitrigo Rubens Barbosa.
The program will have an inaugural lecture on geopolitics and economic perspectives and four panels with the themes: “The wheat market”, “The vision of women in managing the wheat business”, “Consumer Market Trends” and “Innovations and Technologies in the Brazil and the World”.
The event also features three workshops that will address topics of interest to the sector. “We intend to take advantage of the opportunity and the presence of important decision makers to debate the wheat market and its projections for the future, through analyzes of market movements and issues that directly impact the business”, reinforces Barbosa.
The International Wheat Industry Congress is traditionally known for bringing together important players in the sector to analyze trends and expectations for the global market and this edition will be no different. “We hope to have the presence of executives and businesspeople from the main sectors involved in production, milling and grain derivatives”, highlights the Executive President of Abitrigo.
In parallel to the event, the Business Fair will be held, with presentations and offers of products, machines, equipment and systems and cutting-edge technologies. “In addition to debating the challenges faced by the sector in recent years, new consumer demands and future opportunities, participants at the 29th International Wheat Industry Congress will have the chance to close important deals in order to continue the development of the chain ", ends.
