Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA) was the site of the first Vittia Distribution Center, almost 20 years ago. Now, the city will house the company's new storage space: larger and more modern, it will open on July 20th.
The space has double the storage capacity (600 tons) and the total area increases from 900m² to 3926m². The construction area, in turn, which previously occupied just over 600m², currently measures 1485m².
The new Distribution Center has an air-conditioned room for storing products, a receiving dock, ample parking and customer service space, in addition to being fully powered by solar energy.
Vittia serves 20 cities in the region: Barreiras, the closest, is just over 90 km away. The furthest, Cocos, is around 380 km away. With more space to store products, customers will benefit from the possibility of immediate delivery. In the case of scheduled orders, the company's delivery time will fall by half – from 10 to just 5 days.
“Luís Eduardo Magalhaes is a municipality in which there is significant growth in agribusiness. Therefore, it is a strategic location, where we have a large number of customers and volume of demands. With increased storage capacity, optimized operational processes, more efficient inventory management and qualified labor, the company will be able to offer its products faster and with greater quality to the end customer, and this will have a direct impact on sales”, says the Coordinator of Operations, Daniel Duo.
In addition to the Luís Eduardo Magalhães Distribution Center, Vittia has four other DCs in the cities of Sorriso (Mato Grosso), Primavera do Leste (MT), Jataí (GO) and Ijuí (RS).
