Venda Nova do Imigrante (ES) hosts an event from the DuPont Escola socio-environmental program

In partnership with the local company Comercial Agrícola Terra Nova, DuPont Crop Protection promoted another edition of the socio-environmental program in the municipality of Venda Nova do Imigrante (ES). DuPont School. The action was carried out at the Municipal School of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education Caxixe, located in the district of Alto Caxixe. More than 130 students from the 4th and 5th years of elementary school participated in the program, as well as teachers and the school's pedagogue.

A socio-environmental platform program Safety and Health in the Field, sponsored by DuPont, with national coverage, DuPont School is aimed at students and educators from schools located in agricultural regions. The initiative encourages the appreciation of agriculture and agro-environmental sustainability. The agenda of events covers lectures, debates, exhibitions, thematic video screenings, educational activities and games and competitions from the project's official magazine, called Meu Hérói, o Agricultor.

The socio-environmental platform Safety and Health in the Field It is also made up of four other projects: DuPont Women in the Field, DuPont University, DuPont Correct and Safe Use and DuPont Nature. According to DuPont, this set of programs has already benefited more than 1,3 million people in recent years, in the main agricultural regions of Brazil.

In 2017, the DuPont School Program's central themes were the rational use of water and energy and clean and sustainable energy matrices, according to DuPont's general manager of Product Safety and Environment, Felipe Ramos.
