The soybean crusher of the C.Vale cooperative in Palotina, in the west of Paraná, which began operating on June 13, reached the end of August operating at 66% of its production capacity. 1,195 million tons were processed in the month. The result exceeded the target for the period, which was to reach 60% of capacity. The announcement of the inauguration of the investment was reported by Revista Cultivar last year. Read more here.
Industry manager Samuel Rubert reports that full capacity should be reached in October, with the processing of 60 bags/day. On average, 40 bags are being processed daily.
“On August 27, the plant had a production record, when 58 thousand bags were processed,” says Rubert. According to him, adjustments will now be made to the oil extraction system to increase efficiency and also to the processing of soybean meal to improve quality parameters, seeking greater competitiveness in the market.
The manager reports that one challenge is to complete the factory’s staff by October. “We have 39 job opportunities open to work in one of the most modern plants in Latin America,” Rubert notes. According to him, there are openings in the areas of instrumentation, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance and automation maintenance. There are also openings for production assistants and auxiliaries. “These are very interesting opportunities for professional technical development because these auxiliaries and assistants will be the operators and managers of the future,” he emphasizes.
