UPL Brazil is participating in the XXXIV Brazilian Congress of Weed Science (CBCPD 2026), held from August 3rd to 6th in Foz do Iguaçu (PR), presenting solutions for different segments of weed management. Among the highlights of the portfolio are the herbicides Kashmir, Olea, Eximia, and Thunder.
According to Rafael Rovêa, Marketing Manager at UPL Brazil, the main launch for sugarcane cultivation is Kashmir, a new herbicide developed for pre-emergence applications. The company also highlights Eximia, a technology that remains a focus of the company's development strategy for the crop.
In the pasture sector, the highlight is Olea, a new herbicide aimed at controlling weeds, expanding the company's portfolio for this segment. Thunder remains one of UPL's main tools for managing difficult-to-control species, particularly effective against goosegrass and horseweed.
In addition to presenting the technologies, Rovêa highlighted the importance of the interaction between the company and the scientific community during the congress. “I would like to thank the researchers for their support. We are presenting several works in poster format and following the news related to the new active ingredient that UPL is bringing this year,” he concluded.
